TC Energy announces Canada's largest Indigenous equity agreement
The deal allows a consortium of Western Canadian First Nations to own part of TC's natural gas pipeline.
TC Energy Corp. (TC Energy) announced July 30 that it has entered into an equity purchase agreement with a Indigenous partnership for a minority interest (5.34 per cent) in its NGTL System and the Foothills Pipeline assets for a gross purchase price of $1 billion.
