The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) has reached a milestone with its new Rare Earth Processing Facility in Saskatoon, producing rare earth metals at a commercial scale ahead of schedule. This makes Saskatchewan the first (and only) jurisdiction in North America to produce these critical minerals.
